There has been an appointment made for everyone of us to stand before God on Judgment day. "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)

Each person will one day have to keep their ultimate appointment, when they come face to face with a Holy God who hates sin.

He knows all of your thoughts, and you will be judged for them, You will be judged for every idle word that you have ever spoken and for every deed that you have ever done.

Have you prepared for this appointment yet? Will you be able to answer an all powerful, all knowing God, who will accept no excuse on that day?

Some may think that they are not sinful, but God says they are:
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him (God) a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)

The punishment for sin is to be cast into hell.

"And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)

The good news is that God has made a way out for every one of us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

Jesus is the ONLY WAY that sinners can be saved. He said:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6)

"And there is salvation in no other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which it is necessary for us to be saved." (Acts 4:12)

All religions that profess to get to God other than through Jesus Christ give a false hope.

God loves you and wants you to be saved. He wants you to inherit the eternal life that Jesus has purchased for you.

Be prepared to repent (turn from) your sins, to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and to be born again by the Spirit of God.
"For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Here is a sample prayer that you can say:

Dear Father in Heaven, I know that I have broken your laws and my sin has separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now would like to turn away from my past sinful life. Please forgive me and help me to avoid sinning again. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, and now sits at your right hand. I invite Jesus to become Lord of my life from this day forward. In Jesus name, Amen.

The Bible will continue to change. Some of the above verses have already changed. An example is John 3:16, it now says "should" instead of "shall". Should means something totally different than shall. The verse said shall which means that it is definite, should does not mean this. They can change paper and ink but they will never change the eternal word of God. Jesus is the Word of God.

  1. That was nice to have this prayer.

  2. this was such a blessing to my life. Thank U God for leading me here. I love you so much. please continue to watch over and protect me. i feel u working in my life all the time.

  3. God bless you. I don't think you should have the part about the Bible will keep changing. .that's man's doing not God's. Keep it to God's ways not man's. It may make someone think that God will keep changing it then they might think it can't be trusted. So my suggestion would be to change the ending of your post. God bless you

    1. The word of God is unchangeable, Jesus is the Word of God. God is in total control of everything. He has allowed the Bible to be changed by evil men. Amos 8:11-12 and Romans 1:25. When people realize God's word is gone, they will seek God. God uses everything for good.
